On Saturday morning I joined the Shirley Republican Town Committee to participate in their third annual "Operation Cookie Drop". The goal of the drive was to put together hundreds of packages of goods for our troops overseas. The goods packages included toiletries, food, and personal items. The hundreds of packages we put together will be sent to a local marine unit currently serving in the Middle East.
I was also joined at the event by US Senate Candidate Jeff Beatty and Kurt Hayes, who is currently running for State Representative in the 37th Middlesex District. Many thanks to the Shirley Republican Town Committee for putting on such a great event, and for the opportunity to participate.
